At Our Heartfelt Hands, we believe in the power of compassion. Our nonprofit organization is committed to helping those facing homelessness and financial hardship. By providing housing assistance, food, clothing, and reentry support, we create a sense of warmth and community where dignity is restored.
Our Heartfelt Hand was founded from a simple but powerful realization: too many individuals and families fall into homelessness not because of a lack of effort, but because of life-altering circumstances beyond their control.
Job loss, rising housing costs, illness, domestic violence, grief, and unexpected crises can turn stability into uncertainty almost overnight. We witnessed hardworking families sleeping in cars, parents forced to choose between food and rent, and individuals struggling to regain their footing with limited support. What stood out most was not only the lack of resources but the lack of compassion, understanding, and dignity.
Moved by these harsh realities, two women with a shared passion for service made the decision to act.
What began as small acts of outreach providing food, clothing, encouragement, and a listening ear quickly revealed a deeper need. People required more than temporary assistance; they needed consistent support and someone willing to walk beside them during their most difficult moments.
This conviction became the foundation of Our Heartfelt Hand.
At the heart of Our Heartfelt Hand is a belief that hardship can happen to anyone, but no one should have to face it alone. By leading with empathy and service, we extend a helping hand and create pathways toward healing and renewal.
Our nonprofit exists to restore dignity, stability, and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness and to families who have fallen upon hard times.
Through compassionate outreach, essential resources, and community support, we meet immediate needs while helping people move toward long-term stability.

We help individuals and families transition from homelessness to safe, stable housing. Our housing assistance programs ensure that people have a place to call home, offering the support needed to regain their footing and rebuild their lives.

We provide nutritious meals and essential groceries to individuals and families in need. Our food distribution efforts help ensure that no one in the community has to go hungry, offering warmth and nourishment to those struggling.

We distribute clothing, blankets, and other warm essentials to those facing the cold, ensuring they have the necessary protection from harsh weather conditions. Our clothing and winter gear programs offer comfort and dignity during difficult times.

We assist individuals who have been incarcerated with the transition back into society. Our reentry programs provide guidance, resources, and support to help them regain stability, find employment, and reintegrate into their communities successfully.

Our Heartfelt Hands gratefully accepts donations from individuals and organizations committed to making a difference. Every contribution is managed with transparency, accountability, and care, ensuring funds and resources are used efficiently to directly support individuals and families in need.
